Eye Zurich is an ophthalmology practice with its own operating theatre at the Bellevue Medical Center in Zurich.

We specialise in the treatment of keratoconus, laser eye treatments, lens surgery, glaucoma and macular diseases.

FMH ophthalmology especially ophthalmic surgery

Born in Bern, I completed my medical studies and most of my specialist training at the Inselspital in Bern. This was followed by a three-year fellowship in refractive surgery, cataract surgery and corneal disease under the world-renowned corneal and laser pioneer Prof. Dr. Dr. Theo Seiler at IROC in Zurich. During this time I also contributed to numerous scientific projects and presented them at international congresses.

During my training as an eye surgeon, I took the opportunity to further my surgical training at renowned clinics in Asia and South America and to exchange expertise with doctors, physicists and engineers from around the world.

From 2020 to 2023 I was a senior physician at the ONO Eye Centre in Wallisellen. Since July 2024 I have been Chief Physician of the ONO Group for German-speaking Switzerland, operating on patients of the ONO Group in the cantons of Zurich, Schwyz and Thurgau. I also head the ONO Group's SIWF-accredited training centre for ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery (categories C1/C2).

I hold consultations at EYE ZURICH above the Kronenhalle in the heart of Zurich, at EYE SCHWYZ in the ONO Eye Centre Lachen and at the ONO Eye Clinic Wallisellen in the Glattzentrum.
